For over 75 years and four generations, Gordon's
has been the leading purveyor of fine wines, spirits
and now, craft beer, in New England. We pride
ourselves on offering outstanding products whose
quality vastly out shadows their price. We taste
thousands of wines and spirits each year not only to
choose the finest products available, but also to offer
you, our customers, the very best service possible.
We will gladly track down products you have a
hard time finding or send you customized offerings
to your specific needs. Our success has always been
built on our ability to form long-lasting relationships
with our customers.
Rick Gordon is a lifelong Bostonian. He took the
reins of the family business as the third generation
owner in 1983. Over his 3+ decades of impassioned
leadership, he has developed Gordon's into one of
New England's top wine and spirits shops with over
4,000 wines, 200 single malt scotches, and 800 craft
beers in stock. His philosophy is as simple as it is
dynamic, having paved the way for the company's
continued growth and success: "Whether a customer
spends $2 or $20,000, each person should receive
the same attention and respect."

called “the Monticello of the North” and
architectural historians consider it to be the most
significant Federal period mansion in New England.
Set on 50 acres of land including gardens, sweeping
lawns, and a farm with chickens, goats, and sheep,
the museum is an oasis of peace in our busy urban
landscape. Open year-round, the mansion house is
shown by guided tour. The museum offers a full
calendar of special events including the popular
Sheepshearing Festival, concerts, family activities,
exhibits, special themed tours, and holiday teas. In
addition, educational programs for preschoolers,
school groups, scouts, and home schoolers include
tours, outdoor adventures, story times, and farm
related activities.
The grounds and gardens, including a 50'x80' tent
and 1793 carriage house, offer the perfect setting for
weddings, functions and corporate events April
through November.
